With the announcement of the newly established Legal Defense Fund, CNN quotes Anthony Fauci’s lawyer, David Schertler, as saying “Fauci is facing an unprecedented legal barrage for a retired civil servant, and he deserves a robust defense against these unfounded and frivolous actions…”

TRANSLATION:

“He’s facing ‘unprecendented’ only becase we don’t count the legal barrage toward Trump, or any other republican for that matter. By that standard, Cover-up-Tony is practically a martyr.

Retired civil servants must be let off the hood scott-free–no matter how may people  harmed, miscarried, or killed. Just like the German civil servants at Auschwitz during … Wait. Scratch that. Never mind.

Just look the other way. What’s done is done.

And the shiney new defense fund? Pure necessity, of course. We wouldn’t want Tony’s pandemic profits to wither.
